The PROs of this SimplySleeper as per it’s owners:

SimplySleeper Thermal Regulating Premium Raised

  • It’s obvious that it’s a well made air bed as soon as you unpack it…
  • Heavy duty and sturdy, no sinking or air leaks so far…
  • The pump is great, it’s very fast with almost no noise…
  • With my old mattress, me and my husband would sink to the middle of mattress during the night. It was a struggle getting back to our own sides of the bed, but this bed is firm and keeps us comfortably on our sides…
  • I bought this for my insomniac wife for when she stays with her grandma and she says she slept better on this air bed than on our expensive memory foam mattress.
  • This is a premium mattress, I am amazed it costs this much…it’s a steal…
  • I’ve been using this air bed for 6 months now and I have seen almost no leaks…
  • Keeps air for a very long time, me and my wife use it every night and only add air every 5-6 days…
  • Exceeded my expectations for the price…
  • They really stand behind their warranty…I got a new bed within a week…
  • Finally, I am not ashamed when I have guests over…my aunt and uncle couldn’t stop talking about how good they slept on this bed…
  • After weeks of research I decided to get this bed and haven’t regret it for a second…the best material I have seen in an air mattress, way to go SimplyGlobo…
  • I bought this as temporary bed and end up postponing getting a regular bed for months, I was so comfortable on this bed…now that my regular mattress arrived, I can honestly say that I can’t tell the difference in comfort…
  • I have serious back problems and, I and I think I finally found my solution, just the right firmness and the right level of support…
  • The kids love it, since I got it they refuse to sleep on their regular beds…
  • Easy to set up, deflate and store…just as advertised…
  • I guess you could say that my review is negative turned positive. All this because of the customer service of SimplyGlobo. I received a defective product and called them back frustrated. They were very friendly, apologetic and got my new bad within a week…this one is really good, well made and no leaks…

Sounds almost too good to be true, right?

Let’s spoil that right now and see the negative things the users have to say about this bed.

The CONs as per the users:

  • This bed develops a strong plastic smell that fills the room within minutes. It does fade away within days, but I would advise anybody to inflate it and leave it outside for a day before using it…
  • The seam in the upper right corner developed a leak within a month… the worst part was that I couldn’t find the leak…returned the bed…
  • The pump failed us in the middle of our vacation…
  • I feel cold rushes of air on my camping trips…

My final resume and Overall rating:

I’ve reviewed hundreds of air beds in my time, and I feel that I have developed what you can call a “feel” for quality, and I can say with confidence that this is a high quality bed. Especially having in mind the price range.

I like the materials used and especially the fact that it’s built in 3-layer vinyl. I know for a fact that this is almost completely resistant to punctures, so that aspect of the product is just as advertised.

The pump is good, fast and practical, but I must say that I am not a fan of the fact that it cannot be battery operated. This limits its usability in some ways (not the best choice for long camping trips).

There will always be cases of flawed products whether they’re flawed straight out of the factory or damaged in shipping. This is where the quality of their customer service comes in. SimplyGlobo doesn’t have the best customer service out there, but they are professional enough to stick with their warranty.

My overall quality rating is 47 out of 50, which is good. I was pretty strict when grading the pump. The piece itself is good and quick, but I really am taken aback by the fact that it cannot be battery operated.

The fact that it’s so durable and holds air so well indicates that one of it’s purposes should be the outdoors and camping. If so, why in the world not include a choice of how the pump operates.

Anyway, all things considered, this SimplySleeper is very good value for money.
