An Overview of the Coleman Premium QuickBed with Built-In Pump – Queen

I am aware of how overwhelming the heaps of non-systematized information on subject of air beds can be. That is why this site is here to put things in perspective and make the decision easier and clearer through carefully researching the topic for you. So, if you are looking at air mattresses then this will be probably the only website you will ever need.

Enough of small talk and let’s take a look at one of the gems among air mattresses Coleman has brought to the market – The Coleman Premium QuickBed with Built-In Pump and get you closer to the decision if this is the best air mattress for you.

Let’s take a look at what Coleman is saying about their product:

  • Coleman Premium QuickBed with Built-In Pump - QueenIt is extra high for your comfort
  • Luxurious suede finish for extra softness
  • Double Lock Valve inflation system named Airtight which keeps your bed inflated longer and ads security
  • As the name says a built in electric pump for your convenience
  • Zippered bag is included for the convenience of storage and transport
  • Coleman stresses in the instructions of use that even though the Airtight system is designed to keep your bed pumped, this is still an air bed and will need to be re-pumped if the bed is used more then a few consecutive days since the material has the tendency to stretch. This will depend on the temperature and humidity of the location where the bed is placed.
  • Convenient and fast inflation and deflation of the bed

Ok, now let us get to the part that we presume is more important and more relevant for you, what the users are saying about the product.

The positive things the users are saying about the product:

  • Very pleased with the product, stays inflated for really long without the need for inflation
  • Coleman is a good brand and this bed is everything I wanted in an air bed…I am enjoying it
  • I love this product, so easy to put up and take down. Finally, there is no more need to share my bed with freeloading friends that come to visit me in New York
  • This is so nice and comfortable, my husband and I will be using it…looking forward to it, actually…
  • The motor makes it really easy to inflate and deflate, a good tip for using the switch which is kind of hard to turn to different positions is using a rubber jar opening mat
  • I bought a large mattress and decided to return it and I am in-between mattresses. I choose this as a temporary solution and I have been sleeping on it for the past few weeks and all I can say is wow…amazingly comfortable…I will probably still buy a regular mattress but this has allowed me the time so that I don’t have to rush into it.
  • It came in a small package and the storage will be simple. Really worth the price…the built in pump is a great plus…
  • We needed an air mattress for the upcoming camping trip. It is an understatement to say that I was surprised at how comfortable this mattress is and how well I slept. I had a bad cold during the camping trip and still felt I good night sleep on this.
  • At home we have a high quality night sleep and it is fair to say that we are spoilt when it comes to comfort. I still highly recommend this air bed for trips or even as your main bed at home, that’s how comfortable I felt it was…
  • High quality piece of equipment. As grand parents, we often have large groups of guests. I highly recommend it…
  • I found very little deflation in this product…
  • I experienced very little deflation…
  • It is the perfect size so that getting in and out of bed is not a struggle and you don’t feel like lying on the floor…
  • Amazingly easy to inflate and deflate…
  • My guests had nothing but good things to say about this bed…a good tip is putting a quilt under the linen so that you don’ feel the rushes of cold air on occasion…
  • We appreciated the extra height that the bed offers…
  • Minimal leakage and the height really makes you feel like there is no difference between this and a normal bed…
  • Why would anyone decide to get a cheaply made air mattress when this is a lasting solution, especially with the minimal leakage I have seen with this bed…
  • I needed and air mattress for a cross country move and this turned out to be a great buy, a much better option than my old, floor height air mattress…the best air mattress I have used so far…
  • I am a restless sleeper and I just slept on this air bed last night, hardly even woke up…just toss a foam mattress topper on this guy and you will never now the difference between this and a regular bed…
  • When you have something like this as an option, real beds start to seem like a pain to transport…
  • I truly appreciated the built in pump…
  • Very happy with my purchase, cannot be beat if you consider the price/quality ratio…
  • I could not ask for anything better…the travel bag is a big plus…
  • I would sometimes leave it pumped for months and it would hold air…

The not so good things the users are saying about the product:

  • One of the interior pockets slipped on mine, not sure if I got a flawed one…
  • Sometimes not fully leveled…

Final Comments

Having all the research in mind, It is our honest opinion that Coleman hit a bulls eye with this product and that it definitely enters our shortlist of the best air mattresses around.
